During my year working with acclaimed designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee in Kolkata, I refined a rare and highly specialised heritage technique — preparing and applying natural powder pigments, hand-crushed and blended into hundreds of custom shades. These were painted onto handmade Nepalese paper in a style inspired by Mysore and royal palace murals of India, blending centuries-old tradition with contemporary elegance.
